Slime Time

Slime Time is a stop-motion comedy series for kids aged 5–9, starring two lovable snails: Pez and Pezi. Set in a colorful forest world full of surprises, the show blends physical humor, visual storytelling, and handmade charm — all without a single spoken word.

A Stop-Motion Gem for Young Viewers

In the realm of children’s animation, Slime Time emerges as a delightful addition, offering a fresh take on classic slapstick humor through meticulous stop-motion craftsmanship. Produced by The Works of Art STHLM-BCN AB, this Swedish series captivates its audience without uttering a single word, relying instead on expressive visuals and inventive storytelling.

Charming Characters and Whimsical Adventures

The series centers around two endearing snails, Pez and Pezi, whose contrasting personalities set the stage for a series of humorous escapades. Pezi’s energetic and mischievous nature often clashes with Pez’s laid-back demeanor, leading to scenarios that are both entertaining and heartwarming. From racing towards a coveted tomato to dealing with being stranded on a desert island, each episode presents a unique, self-contained story that keeps viewers engaged.

Visual Storytelling at Its Finest

What sets Slime Time apart is its commitment to visual storytelling. The absence of dialogue allows for a universal appeal, making it accessible to children regardless of language. The creators, Stefan Goblirsch and Laura Fernández, have infused the series with a tactile quality that harkens back to traditional animation techniques, offering a refreshing contrast to the digital animations prevalent today.

A Treat for Parents and Children Alike

Designed for children aged 5 to 9, Slime Time also resonates with parents who appreciate quality animation and storytelling. The series’ short episodes, each lasting about a minute, make it an ideal choice for brief viewing sessions, ensuring that screen time remains both enjoyable and manageable.
Slime Time stands as a testament to the enduring charm of stop-motion animation. Its blend of humor, creativity, and visual appeal makes it a must-watch for young audiences and a delightful experience for the entire family.
